Bat Sheva Marcus has dedicated her life to making sure every woman she meets is satisfied with her sex life. As clinical director for The Medical Center for Female Sexuality (MCFS), Marcus says, "Don't worry about national averages or what other people are doing. What is important is whether you and your partner are happy with your sex life."

Marcus is a licensed social worker with a master's degree from Columbia University . She also holds a master's in public health from the Institute of Advanced Study of Human Sexuality and is currently a doctoral candidate, writing her dissertation on vibrator use.

Marcus founded The Medical Center for Female Sexuality with physician, Dr. Michael A. Werner in 2000 and has served as its clinical director for the past six years. During her tenure, she has helped hundreds of women improve their sex life through a combination of medical and psychological treatments. Marcus currently lives in the Bronx with her husband and three children.

The Medical Center for Female Sexuality is one of the only treatment centers in the country to integrate a medical and psychological treatment modality. A medical and psychological team works to evaluate the issues that might be of concern to the patient.
