What is MCFS

The Medical Center for Female Sexuality is in its 10th year of operation.  The Center operates out of two medical offices in the metro New York area.  Both offices continue to expand as women hear about the Center and our success in serving women at all stages of life, helping them overcome the physical and emotional causes of female sexual dysfunction, and providing tools for a successful and satisfying sex life.

The Medical Director, Clinical Director and Assistant Medical Director frequently speak on this topic at professional conferences, Grand Rounds, and community events focused on health and wellness.

While we treat women who are able to receive treatment at our offices, we also serve women in outlying regions via our website with education and information on sexual conditions experienced by women around the country. The website has been live for eight years and has recently been redesigned to include physician referrals beyond our treatment area, patient information, online resources and related products.

The MCFS FSD Preceptorship - Expanding your practice to include Female Sexual Dysfunction

Several years ago, we were asked by an OB/GYN practice in the Midwest to train their physicians and staff to build an FSD practice. In addition to the time-tested protocols for treatment, MCFS staff was able to introduce best practices in setting up a practice, including patient instruction, billing systems, supplies and a rich narrative on the opportunities and challenges of expanding a practice to treat FSD. Today our preceptorship consists of 6 hours of on-site training along with electronic and hard copies of these proven protocols and procedures.

We are making this program available to gynecologists, nurse practitioners, sex therapists and sex counselors and office managers and administrators who want to bundle the necessary expertise to create this much needed service to women in your area. Plans are also in place for MCFS to refer patients to practitioners beyond our service area. The MCFS website receives 10,000 visitors each month.
