Arousal Disorders

A lack of physical response or minimal physical response to situations that typically result in sexual arousal. Also, includes women who are overly responsive to the point where a woman is in a constant state of arousal.

Female Orgasmic Dysfunction

The inability for a woman to climax or orgasm during sexual intercourse.

Female Sexual Arousal Disorder

The inability for a woman to be aroused sexually.

Hypoactive Sexual Desire Disorder (HSDD)

A condition where a woman does not desire sexual activity or thoughts

Low Sexual Desire

When one does not feel the need (often or at all) to be sexually activel. Low desire can be the result of an arousal disorder.

Orgasm

Occurs at the peak od sexual arousal, it is a natural release of sexual tension. Orgasms are thought to release pain inhibitors in the body. Following an orgasm a person often feels a sense of well-being or relief.

Orgasmic Dysfunction

When a person, male or female are unable to achieve an orgasm during sexual intercourse.

Persistent Genital Arousal Disorder (PGAD)

When a person is in a constant state of sexual arousal.

Persistent Sexual Arousal Syndrome (PSAS)

Another name for Persistent Genital Arousal Disorder.

Sexual Desire

Also known as Libido. This is the want or need to satisfy or release sexual tension. Sexual desire can be affected and changed by arousal disorders.
